Instructions

Percolating the coffee

  1. Remove the Coffee Filter, Filter Cover and the Stem
  2. Fill the percolator with the desired amount of water according to the measurement markings inside the body. NOTE: Do not use hot water. Do not add water beyond the MAX level.
  3. Add desired amount of coffee according to the measurement markings inside the coffee filter. For stronger or milder coffee, adjust amount of ground coffee to suit your taste.
NOTE: We recommend using a coarsely ground coffee. Finely ground coffee may cause the coffee filter to overflow and grounds to be present in the final brewed coffee.
WARNING: Do not add too much coffee, the top level of coffee should be lower than the MAX line of the coffee filter or the coffee may overflow during heating. Place the filter cover on the filter.
  4. Place the filter with filter cover on stem. Holding the top part of the stem, place the stem and filter inside the percolator.
  5. Close the lid. Press down to lock it.
  6. Connect the power cord inlet into the socket of the percolator, then insert the plug into appropriate outlet.
  7. Switch on the Power switch. The brew cycle will start. NOTE: Do not open the lid when the percolator is heating.
  8. Once the brew cycle is done, the blue indicator light will turn on and the percolator will switch to keep warm automatically, in order to keep the coffee hot.
  9. Unplug the percolator after using or when you do not want to use the keep warm function.
