kitchen safety
Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware is designed with excellent thermal conductivity.  Oven gloves or mitts are recommended for safety when maneuvering the cookware during or immediately after cooking as handles can  get hot. Never leave a pan unattended over high heat or allow contents to boil dry; extended heating without liquid may cause permanent damage to your pan.

stovetop use
Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware is ideal for use with all conventional stovetops, including electric, gas, ceramic, glass, and induction stoves. The bases of this cookware are designed to conduct heat quickly and evenly. For best results, select a burner that is comparable to the size of the bottom of the pan you are using. When cooking on a gas stovetop, choose a burner that is sized appropriately so that the flame comes in contact with the bottom of the pan only and does not come in contact with the side of the pan. Always use caution when cooking on the stovetop as handles will get hot. Cook at a moderate heat and follow recipes carefully during food preparation to ensure best cooking results. High heat is recommended for boiling only. Use medium-high heat for frying, sautéing, and searing. Low-temperature cooking is recommended for simmering and gently warming foods.

oven use
Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware is oven safe to 550˚F (287˚C). Please use caution when handling pans during oven use as handles will get hot. When lifting handles and lids, or when removing pans from the oven, use oven gloves or mitts for your safety. Do not use under the broiler. Use in the oven may cause discoloring of your stainless steel multi-pot. This does not affect the performance.

utensils
Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware is safe to use with metal utensils, but using high temperature nylon, silicone, or wood tools is highly recommended for longer lasting beauty. Do not use knives, pointed or sharp edged cooking utensils, or small appliances such as electric mixers to chop or mix foods in your cookware.  Such use can damage the interior surface of the pans and void the manufacturer’s warranty.

cleaning
For best cooking results, always keep your Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware clean. Allow pans to cool prior to washing. Submerging hot pans in cold water can cause cookware to warp. Do not use abrasive cleansers, steel wool, or steel scouring pads during cleaning. Doing so can cause damage to exterior and interior of cookware. For best results, hand wash with non-abrasive cleansers and liquid dishwashing soap.  Bialetti Stainless Steel cookware is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to maintain its mirror finish, which will be dulled by harsh detergents used in dishwashers. This dulling will not affect the performance and operation of your pan. Starch content can build up on the cooking surface if pasta making is the primary use for this item. This can be easily removed with baking soda and water.
