Bialetti Esperto beans are produced entirely in the Bialetti roastery: in the choice of coffees, preference is given to beans grown in plantations located in tropical areas at high altitudes, over 1000 m above sea level. Up there, thanks to the significant variations in temperature, the coffee has a slower ripening time, and thanks to this it develops an unmistakable aroma. The beans are sorted according to size, colour, aroma, moisture.
Before roasting, thanks to high-precision optical sorters, we check the beans one by one, removing any that are not at the right degree of ripeness, or are spoilt or fermented. We only roast perfect beans.
The Bialetti roasting method involves a long, controlled roasting time that allows the full aromatic spectrum of the coffee origins to be brought out.
