Bialetti Introduces Coffee French Press

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. and CHICAGO (March 10, 2012)– Bialetti, the leading Italian stovetop coffee maker, announced today that it will add a French Press to its collection of coffee makers, which includes the original Moka Express introduced by Alfonso Bialetti nearly 80 years ago.

Since the debut of the Moka Express in 1933, Bialetti has grown to be the world’s most recognized Italian coffee company and has manufactured more than 200 million coffee makers to date. Additionally, it is estimated that more than 120 million cups of coffee are brewed with a Bialetti coffee maker internationally each day.

The French Press is made from 18/10 stainless steel and a 1-liter glass cylinder, and features a l’Omino (the little man) cutout, which is widely recognized as Bialetti’s original symbol of quality and authenticity. The French Press provides the simplest way of making quality, traditional coffee with three basic items: a Bialetti French Press, hot water and freshly, coarsely ground coffee. The Bialetti French Press is available for an MSRP of $39.99.

The French Press rounds out Bialetti’s collection of coffee makers, including the Moka; Musa and Venus (stainless espresso pots); Brikka; and electric maker, the Easy Café.
