Mokina encompasses the Bialetti experience and tradition in a compact version of the iconic Moka Express, perfect if you love the intense taste of a ristretto. A true miniature Moka Express, created from the same passion for coffee and the same design that has made Bialetti a symbol of Italian homes since 1933.With its unmistakable lines and characteristic octagonal aluminium boiler, Mokina retains the distinctive elements that made the original Moka famous, reinterpreting them in a smaller size to offer an even more decisive and concentrated experience.Treat yourself to a small but immense pleasure whenever you want: the Bialetti half-cup Mokina is perfect for a quick break to savour every last drop or for when you need a real boost of energy. A timeless ritual, enclosed in the smallest coffee maker of the Bialetti family.
Body material: aluminium; Handle and knob material: thermoplastic; Easy-clean safety valve; Not dishwasher safe; Compatible with electric and gas hobs; Suitable for induction hobs only when used with the Bialetti induction plate.
How to make coffee: 1. Start by pouring room-temperature water into the Moka boiler, filling it up to the level of the safety valve. Do not exceed this level or the coffee might be too watery. 2. Choose your preferred blend of ground coffee. Be careful. The blend must be Moka-ground, and not too fine. Generously fill the Moka funnel, without pressing the coffee. 3. A little secret? Set the heat to low and take your time; it is worth waiting a few more minutes to enjoy an excellent coffee. When the coffee has completely percolated into the collector, turn off the heat. 4. Now comes the crucial moment: taste. To savour the aromas in the best way, we recommend that you drink the coffee as soon as it is poured into the cup.
Cleaning instructions: Moka Express Bialetti should only be rinsed with water after use. Do not use detergents. The product must not be washed in the dishwasher, as this may damage it and alter the taste of the coffee.
